As a video editor, director, and creative sparring partner, I help brands and creatives distill ideas into stories that communicate beyond words and shift conversations.
Inspired by an intercultural background, I bring a curiosity to projects which spans borders, flexing between long and short form, commercial, and artistic initiatives, with a sweet spot for innovative documentary content.
A Fine Arts degree majoring in Intermedia & Time-Based Arts, plus a decade of professional experience woven through the film, advertising, and creative industries, has equipped me with a hybrid skillset, adaptive to the challenges of a dynamic media landscape.
My refined craft skills come bolstered by past experience as a Brand Marketing Producer, and four years as Head of Post Production at Cascade creative studio. I offer a discerning eye for the poetic and critical language of images, balanced with structured workflows and a commitment to delivering tangible results.
With a focus on nurturing relationships that ignite creative inquiry and harnessing the synergistic potential of cross-disciplinary encounters, I’m keen to embark on new collaborations in Europe, New Zealand, and beyond...

“Working with Monica was a truly wonderful experience. From the very beginning, she brought such warmth, sensitivity, and calm energy to the project. She made everyone feel comfortable, respected, and confident, and that emotional connection shines through in every photo.
The final photos were exactly what we had hoped for: natural, expressive, and carefully edited. She handled everything with great attention to detail and delivered the results incredibly quickly and reliably. I’d absolutely recommend working with her!”
“As a DOP traveling and shooting in Germany for American Travel Channel show we had typical demands; moving lots of gear with schedule changes, multiple locations and lots of driving. Fortunately we had a great german crew. Including my great Assistant Camera Monica. As typical, multiple cameras and a variety of specialty cams kept her busy. Always smiling, she was meticulous and always one step ahead of me, as in… doing what I was thinking before I said it. Plus handling all the media over long days. An excellent experience and would love to work with her anytime. If someone is traveling to Germany, call me…. I have a great recommendation for you!”
“Monica always has the common goal in mind, and to have her on a team is an asset! On my team, as a Camera Assistant and DIT during a two week documentary shoot, she was always on the ball, and did her job flawlessly. Thanks to her motivation and dedication, she rapidly expanded her skillset, and when the going got tough, she continued to work quickly, carefully and professionally.”
“Monica's creative eye and thoughtful collaboration gave me wonderful footage to work with. I had great confidence in her ability to make the shoot count with imaginative and well-crafted images, that would serve the story well.”
“Working with Monica has been a real pleasure. Diligent, thoughtful and hard working, she has a real passion for storytelling as well as a very strong visual sense. Monica certainly knows the realities of self-production and regardless of the obstacles, she does not compromise but always puts respect at the core of her projects.”
